1/4 acre lot, but the house is obviously sitting on it.
I can cut it with 25% left, unless its wet or I let it get too tall, at which time I can finish it with the battery from my trimmer/blower. Self propelled speed also impacts battery life. I cut at about 50% speed.
Battery has 3yr warranty, mower has 5yr. If you use a CC that extends the warranty (Costco Citi card FTW) you get an extra 2yrs or whatever your card may give.
I'm comfortable with the risk of needing a new battery, vs having to get/store gas.
The charger is also "smart", it drains to a certain % and gets topped off. If it isnt pulled from the charger for 60days, I think, it goes into sleep mode and doesnt top it off.
Also, just yank the battery after everycut and throw it on the charger, which can be wall mounted above your mower.
I also like how it folds up and doesnt take up as much space.
