You know what really grinds my gears?!

The Range Rover throws a complete hissy-fit if you let it get low on fuel. It puts a gigantic orange "fuel" icon between the gauges, chimes at you, says "Fuel Level Low," throws up two different orange "exclamation mark inside triangle" icons, and the navigation system offers to find nearby gas stations. All at once.

You can press OK on the steering wheel buttons to shut it up, but the big fuel icon comes back every half-mile or so.

That said, it has the decency to wait until maybe 1/8 of a tank to warn you.

Ours does the same because Jess basically waits for me to drive it to fill it, and when I tell you it doesnt bother me in the least and the E92 bothers the shit out of me.... you know it's bad.

Hah! I remember my 1-series being similarly cautious as your E92 and it also drove me nuts. I think I just started filling it at half a tank.
