Dude come on. You're in sales, you know the answer to this.

You planning on buying another house from them next week? No so they couldn't care less. Not to say this isn't bad customer service but you know how it goes. I highly doubt your negative Yelp review on a home builder will hurt their bottom line.

Obviously it won't, the real estate industry is on fire here...any builder is going to sell out eventually.  This builder sells and builds in a lot of multi-builder communities though (our neighborhood has 5 builders alone) so if a review I leave or a bad BBB hit gets seen by one homeowner and keeps that sale out of their pocket for a little longer or another current homeowner sees it and realizes that they need to call asap to get their services scheduled so they don't have to go through the same thing, I would feel good about it.

I guess I also have a different approach to sales. I help sell and deliver a lot of projects that I know may never lead to repeat business, but I still give our clients a phenomenal experience and answer questions in some cases years later. Because it's the right thing to do, but that's also how referrals happen.
