You know what really grinds my gears?!
When we bought our home: Salesperson, construction manager and service / warranty manager all tell us we will have a 12 month final walkthrough. Service manager told me several times the builder would schedule this, the last time mentions they are pretty backed up so it might be a while. We don't hear back from builder after 12 month mark, get into Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday stuff, reach back out and they tell us that we are past the 12 month window and do not get our 12 month walkthrough nor or 12 month "blue tape" nail pop / settlement crack fixing because we were supposed to schedule this ourselves.

There's bad customer service and then there's these people. Why would you do that to a customer? Do you want to get blown up on social media / their online review site / BBB? I used to build homes so I get it that it's a pain to come back and service them but it's part of your job and not once did we ever deny a customer a 12 month walkthrough no matter how long it took us to get to them.
