With black door trim, I think black side mirrors are the right answer. I found a place that does repro of the original, but in black... which probably looks similar to the picture below. Unfortunately, they're sold out and I can't seem to find them elsewhere. I guess I could get a pair sprayed, but I'd really rather not do that. I don't really want sport mirrors, so I'm gonna contact this place and see if they'll have them again.

If you look for ducktails, wide bodies are definitely waaaaay more prominent.
Interestingly, this picture has the shop run by that old school mechanic I was talking about in the background. This picture actually made me realize rubber tie downs won't work, because of the Porsche reflector. Argh. Swapping latches ain't gonna be easy.
