The slide rule bezel is something I recently became very interested in. Not only can you do pilot-type stuff Lee mentioned, which isn't pertinent to me, you can do pretty much any conversion that matters today. Currency conversion is a big one, but it also has markings for km-to-miles and kg-to-lbs. That, combined with dual time zone, makes it a great feature for people who travel internationally and either don't want to do brain math or whip our their phone. The only hitch is you have to understand how to use logarithmic scale.
