BendPak MD-6XP mid-rise car lift, 6000lb Capacity

Having never used this type of lift, other than not having to bolt it to the floor, would you say it has any advantages over a similarly priced MaxJax two-post such as this?

This seems frighteningly unsafe. How does it not risk becoming unbalanced if it's not bolted down?

Uh those 2-posts are all bolted down

I think he is saying that Pete's lift is the unsafe one.
