don't safari it - go Targa style, or tarmac rally if you want to call it that. rally lights, flaps, maybe a roof vent.

the safari cars are cool only for the motorsports pedigree, and only if you drive it on dirt all the time and actually use those 75-series all terrains. otherwise you're just driving a 911 with its handling completely ruined for pavement. the actual 911 rally cars never looked that retarded, Porsche only make the 911 into an exo-caged monster truck for the Africa rallys. it always amuses me how the safari cars have caught on, considering how ridiculous they look out of the motorsports context.

the normal rally cars looked a lot tamer.




here's the same car in tarmac form - love it. very purposeful, but not "HEY I'M PRETENDING I'M A RACE CAR"



here's the final caveat - you need to actually DRIVE IT to maximize the cool factor
