I just figured something out, hopefully I'm not the last one. In your user options, uncheck "Show friendly redirect pages"

This gets rid of the intermediate/confirmation screen when posting a reply or "mark all topics read":

The selected forum has been marked as read.
Click here if you don't want to wait any longer.


I will miss the "click here..." part though.   Does anyone want to wait any longer? I never understood why I was waiting at all in the first place!

THIS IS AMAZING. Who implemented the stupid sit and wait in the first place (I know nothing about websites so if it was needed back in the day bite me)?!
