btw, they can't make you rev your engine. They only test the db level at idle. You don't have to rev it if you don't want too.

Are you sure about that? Sounds like it could be true... but would you want to piss them off?

Sounds just like the law that they can't force you to open your hood to examine your engine when they stop you. They have to have a warrant for that. Like Jack said though, do you really wanna risk pissing them off.
