So I got home late from the arrest and too tired to really mess with the watch much other than unpacking it and shaking it to get the movement working. The automatic movement is pretty smooth, smoother than videos on YouTube make it look. The watch face is a good size for my wrist and it wears very well. It's heavy, which I like, but not so much that it's cumbersome. I need to either take 2 links out or take it and have 2 links taken out; haven't decided if I want to do it myself or not, I've read it's a real PITA to do. Either way, I'm too tired to mess with the links tonight. Packaging isn't as impressive as the Citizen or the Tissot, but I don't wear the box so I don't really care too much. It came wrapped around a nice pillow and was undamaged, that's good enough for me. The outer dial spins one direction with firm, crisp clicks, which is nice. The watch face looks black in some pictures and at some angles, but it is actually dark blue. In person you pick up the blue a lot more than you do in pictures. I think once I get it sized this will quickly become a daily wear watch on office days and casual outings with the wife.
