Real advice? Don't buy it.

I can think of way better ways of spending $500....which to be more realistic is closer to like $1500, assuming it only takes $1k to get a $500, 34 yr old, BMW to function like a car.

What's a better car for $500?

Nothing, unless it's a 2006 Ford Taurus.
