Look. I'm 100% down to formulate and lead a project on getting an Scca rally car in the works. We can title it in my name and everything. We can preferably get something cheap that runs for less than $1000 and find some way to trailer it to events. I think the likelihood of breaking something to where it can't drive back home is very high. I think this has the absolute lowest cost of entry and maintenance as karting costs >$100 per event and there are other people on track. The risk is really low with rally and so is the price. That way each member can just pay their entry and use the car.

We just need someone that's local to hang on to the car and allow space for someone to come fiddle with it. I think if someone wants to drive they need to pay a fee that will be lopped into a fund to pay for repairs and gas each time they drive it.

We have personally seen two <$1000 volvos join the club in perfect running order in the last 4 months. Why not find a 3rd one?
