they're called Jet Sprints and you figure only Kiwis would be drunk enough to stuff 1000hp smallblocks into a dingy the size of a picnic table. also, the courses are pretty nuts so they have a navigator telling them the turns with split second hand gestures, in like a foot of water. amazing!
these things must be super unstable because if you watch their hands, they turn the wheel about 15 degrees and can almost pirouette the boat around a needle. reminds me of some kind of mutation of superbike/rally/F1 in a puddle
