Okay, so basically what happened is I got to work without much drama. It did feel a bit down on power at one point but it picked back up after a quick restart. When I went to leave work everything seemed fine at first, then while going down the hill by the train tracks my front brakes suddenly stopped working. That was exciting. Then immediately afterward when I tried to take off from the light, it started sputtering and died on me. I wheeled it to the sidewalk and kicked it back on, and everything seemed fine again, until it cut off a minute later. I messed with it on the sidewalk a bit and found that it idled okay, but as soon as I went to give it any sort of throttle, it cut out and shut off. I then admitted defeat for the night and called to the MM chat for help. Joaquin came and picked me up and got the moped and I home.

So I'm thinking its time to clean the carburetor? That's all I can think of at this point. Taylor mentioned to me before that ethanol gas can mess up carburetors as well, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
