Gas prices never really concerned me, even when I was living in Loudoun County, drove everywhere, and was making 1/3 of what I do now. I'm interested to know what the tipping point is.

I think there is a very small subset of people that let gas prices effect their car buying choices. Prices of gas fluctuate so much I don't see that being a huge factor. With Tesla it is more of a statement piece than about being green. It's the latest and greatest technology, the fact that you can say you own a Tesla, etc. That is very important to a large percentage of the population.
