All time 4hi should be more than sufficient for your needs. If you're really in a pickle, just lock the center diff. I suggest your first mod being a set of Weather Tech Digital Fit mats. T4r.org has a group buy with a vendor for a stupid low price.

X2. The regular floor mats turn black/brown in about 4 minutes if your feet ever see mud, and they'll stay that way. Weathertech's are amazing because they fit the floor lines perfectly and make a bowl to trap everything.

We just got weathertechs for the LR4, debating dropping the cash for putting them in my truck as well. I just have generic black rubber mats in there now, and stock ones in the rear that are getting pretty dingy.
