No you don't. You have pie cut carpet which Mazda used in all of the 94-97 tan interior Miata's (and I think the black carpet for those years is pie cut also). 90-93 is different. The change was made mostly because of the ecu location change.

Miata.net says the 95 M came with "High Quality Cut Pile Carpet" which implies it is different than the regular carpet.
