So, suspension set ups.
Suspensions are funny as in, I don't quite understand them, yet. The first big question is coilovers or just stiffer springs and better shocks/struts. Coilovers may be too aggressive for my application but the adjustability of them is very attractive. Honestly, since I rarely see track days, they seem like over-kill, but I am considering it.
Besides that, bushings will be replaced with poly-u, as will sway bar endlinks and a diff mount insert. Some say to avoid going with a thicker sway bar since it actually increases understeer but I'm not sure if I'll go that route.
Price wise, Pedders has a coilover kit that is 1500 bucks, just for those. The other spot I'm looking at is 1400 for springs and struts with some bushings, and 2200 for springs and shocks, sway bars and the whole thing. The coilover kit seems pretty attractive for what you get considering the other options are already pushing 1500 for less advanced suspension options.
