Good luck on the spun bearings man. I know Sam had some issues with that and it never got quite running right when just trying to fix the bearings themselves on his 240.
I agree with DJ, I'd just get a crate motor even though it costs a lot I think you'll be happy with a brand new motor since you said you are in a loss already and plan to keep it
