You are spending $300-400 round trip (~2000 miles for me, BWI->Florida in 2 hours) usually on cheap tickets from an airline company (that's what I pay for Southwest). You expect luxury for that cheap of a cost? Trust me, I know flying isn't fun at all but I'm not going to bitch about it. I'm the most worried about plane maintenance since fares are so cheap. I sit on the inside so I don't have to deal with people getting up a 100 times, stay quiet with headphones, and usually pass out but make sure to get my free drinks/snacks. The only annoyance I have is when someone puts their seat back because a) it shoves the tray into me if it is down and b) there is already no room in the first place.
To be honest, I think flying should be a luxury item and be more expensive. That would be the only way to solve all y'alls twisted panties.
