From what I know (he was around my freshman year, then disappeared) I believe he was asked to step down because he wasn't devoting any time to the club. Or something.
yeah basically MM was interfering with his school/job so instead of trying to work around a solution with the other officers he just more or less dipped out with an apology note like "sorry this isn't working, hope you guys don't mind"
nice guy but just had no understanding of what the club was really about and i think he was more worried about the position looking awesome on his resume than actually caring for the club.
