Not sure about the rules but I've seen S52s with Sunbelt Stage II cams, a tune, 3.5in intake/24# injectors + full exhaust dyno 275rwhp, so yeah, it can be done, but the cams are hard to find and close to $2k I think. You can tune an S54 way down for certain classes, and I think you can get into the high-300s pretty easily as well. Also solid lifters and 8000rpms.
