IT'S OVER, EVERYONE!

I got a coupon for $40 off at Advance auto so I pulled some money out of my savings and went and got my radiator. Installation was a total butt. It was the right stuff, but some 1 bolt had to be left out and I had to cut some of the fan shroud away. I also left the AC lines unbolted under the radiator. I'll zip tie those up later. I bought the bigger "upgrade" automatic radiator. It sure is a lot thicker than the MT one. Also, my condenser is severely bent backwards and rubs the radiator. I guess something must have hit it, but it made it really tough getting everything back together. All in all, I got it bled and ran it down the road. With the timing correct and nicely balanced tires, it is the most smooth and quiet Miata I've driven and definitely has more power now than when I bought it. It used to almost stall out when you cut the A/C on, and now it barely even shudders. Sounds way better now too. Exhaust sounds nice and the engine ticking has gone away. (I read that the lifters dry out when doing a timing belt and need to be ran for a while to get lubed up. All in all, I'm very happy. I also spent more time with my step dad today than I ever had. Hopefully this car will be our thing to bond over.
