Precious metal as an investment option always hit me as really weird. it seemed like a potentially good idea in 2008 but it seems to go inverse with the confidence in the market. i prefer to invest in etfs or mutual funds or a very wide commodities fund to reduce volatility in one market. i only hold like 6 individual company stocks and those were just for shits and giggles
