I typed up a good post and my browser crashed. Guess I left out a few things when I typed it again.
First off: Thanks for the compliments, guys!
Second: I wanted to be safe, so I bought some 75-90 today and changed the rear diff oil. Didn't look frothy or milky like it had an water in it, but it wasn't as clean as I'd want it to be after only 2 or 3k miles on it. Magnet on the drain plug had a good amount of metal on it, but nothing to worry about.A huge hole like that didn't let much (or any) water in, so this new setup done correctly will be great.
