If the clutch is worn down, you'll need to get a clutch kit and replace it, and still probably want to have the flywheel resurfaced. I "resurfaced" the flywheel in the Miata using some emory cloth, but that put down approximately 300 less horsepower through 2 fewer wheels, not sure if it would be advisable on a big boy car.
What if you got rid of it like... this weekend? Doesn't seem like the issue is too noticeable yet, just trade it on or sell it to carmax and commandeer that GTI.
Thanks bud!
Yeah, that's definitely in the cards. Big bro is actually home this weekend, so I'm hoping he's willing to go carless for a bit... he lives in the city anyway. Although, shit, my windshield is currently cracked and closest appointment is the 16th.
I hate to say it, but on the whole, I regret this decision. I was so much happier with the Ralliart; I was able to afford this car but I wasn't able to afford the experience of this car. If that makes any sense. I could never drive all that hard without fearing the gas price repercussion. Not to say it didn't put a shit eating grin on my face almost every day but I could never really fully take advantage.
Such is life I guess.
