I've taken to putting the car on a Batter Tender. The current battery is the one that got hosed when the alternator went bad. It needs to be replaced, but I'm waiting on Optima certs from my dad for a freebie. 
It almost stranded me a few weeks ago, but I managed to get it started and home. It's pretty strong on a charge, so I plug it in when I'm not going to drive the car for a few days.
Also, It was a nice day... so I took a couple photos.
