I know this isnt what i said i was looking for, but i posted because it seems like a really good price for that vintage. Do those have some major problem that could be why this one is a few grand cheaper than ive been coming across them?

The HPFP issues that plagued them forever seem to finally have been fixed. I think they would make a great daily. Track car? no.

I probably won't touch one because turbo. I was instructing a 135i with less than 3,000 miles on it and it broke one of the intercooler pipes and consequently the BOV. Yay bmw plastic. I am just too hard on cars for complex systems.
