^that is true - he wrote that he couldn't remember his actions leading up to the accident but said he had played it "safe" on that stretch of road before. He admitted that he was riding that evening in the first place to test (read: triple the speed limit) the bike after a dyno tune, but b/c of his memory loss, can't remember if he was going 90 or 140+.
Its just the gnarliest bike accident I've heard of a human surviving, which is why I posted it. Amazing what the human body can endure.
