Yeah for a daily, go e39 and OBD2, not e34 and hodge podge 19-yr-old elecromechanical stuff that stopped working 10 years ago.
Or yes, also strongly recommend E46.
And of course as always I have to recommend the inline 6 for either. Though I sometimes find I'm in the minority around here when 0-60 in 6-7 sec doesn't qualify as being capable of "getting out of its own way". :dunno:

I would agree on the recommending the inline 6, much more reliable.

Channing, even my 7500lb truck does faster than that 0-60 :lol:
