Nope.
A reman engine is $4-$5K installed. Rebuilding/refreshing a good running engine isnt much less, but should last just as long. A bone stock engine can go anywhere from 30-100k, I have no idea what an engine with "reliability mods" (downpipe, no cat, exhaust, better cooling systems (both IC and Rad), better tuning, silicon hoses (see: rats nest), etc, etc) at stock boost levels will last. Maybe Jack can chime in on that.
They are like hot, high maintenance girlfriends. Great to look at, a blast to ride, but a pain in the ass to put up with.
