its not like STi and TRD aren't going to have a field day in the coming years with eventually upselling higher horsepower versions of this. new cars always have headroom for more power later in the model cycle.
What you said. the BRZ STi is just a styling concept. I'm just pumped that a new car has come out and it's smaller, lighter, less powerful, has the right wheel drive, and doesn't come with a video game for a transmission. Not that there's anything wrong with any of those things, but it's nice to see something new that's pure, simple, and hopefully very good.
I don't think the car really needs more power to be awesome, however, I'll be keeping an eye on them because if they sell a factory-turbo'd one under either mark it'd be really hard not to go buy one.
I think the styling is fairly clean and attractive assuming that the production version will be wingless and have sideview mirrors. I'd love a white one. 8)
