It's time for a new car. Is this a good buy?

What year is that BWM goodspeed?

No, not dead set at all, but something in that price range, has "luxury" feature, and is fun to drive.

My mother has a TL (a few years older). I have driven it and it was nice, but not fun to drive at all, but it was an automatic.

I'm tired of roughin' it in my WRX. Plus it's falling apart.

The MT TLs come with standard Brembo brakes and are quite fun to drive. I mean suspension wise it's an entry-level luxury sedan so you have to expect it to handle like a boat, but the stock A-spec suspension upgrade makes it a LOT stiffer and more capable. Or you can switch to an aftermarket suspension....a stock WRX without suspension upgrades handles like shit too, as I'm sure you know.

The TL-S is a different beast. The MT has an LSD, AT and MT both have Brembos and stiffer suspension that is very comfortable for daily driving. I should know, I spend 85% of my time in mine. The TL-S also beat the IS350 and G35 around Willow Springs in a Japanese mag comparo, so I don't even give the "FWD SUX LOL" crowd the time of day.
