i couldnt afford the nice gear but I got by..
leather gloves-Lowes welding gloves are like $15. tough but usable
back protectors- I got one for $50 delivered new on ebay
boots- big walmart OVER the ankle shit kickers
jeans- 2 pairs at a time
joe rocket armored phoenix jackets are mad cheap on ebay. theyre a summer jacket, but all the shoulder/elbow/back armor is in there.
thats great you took the initiative to get decent gear. you can walk away from some nasty crashes if you have the right stuff on
