Hell, I've washed my keyboard in the dishwasher.

Does this work? Mine is so damn dirty.

Depends on the keyboard. At a place where I used to work (we processed used PC parts) we'd throw them in the dishwasher (after covering up the plug) and if they worked after coming out, we kept them. If they didn't, we took the keys off and threw them away.

IF your KB is really dirty, I'd do that. Take the keys off, put them in a cleaing solution.
