Well, see, it works like this:
I had a windfall and decided to invest it. Granted it's a bit of a long-shot investment, but my chances of a BIG payoff are a known value. I'll let you guys know whether or not my investment pays off.
It has *precisely* as much to do with the stock market thread as your past, oh, say, 10 posts.
