Local ski resorts? Lots of kids stuff too?

Thanks for the tips everyone. Jack is 7 and Cooper is 3. I guess I could look into them skiing but I think I would rather do that when we have at least two or three days to be there. Since they would only be there for a day and a half I was thinking we might just do the tubing and enjoy the snow for the first time.
Any recommendations for lodging at Wintergreen, Bryce, Massanutten, or Snowshoe? Is it better to go through the resorts or try to rent a condo from a private owner? Thanks.

Then to be honest, as much as I love the little place, Bryce is probably not for you on this trip. The tube park is smaller and there isn't as much to do apres' tubing as the other places.

I think for the amount of time you're going Massanutten or Wintergreen are probably the best mix of travel time / things to do.

Of course if you decide to go to Bryce, I will trade the key to my parents house (they be in FL) for a NASA-MA HPDE weekend :wink:
