Im a McCain guy which doesnt come as a huge surprise since Im in/will be in the military when I graduate. I think Palin was a mistake honestly. She is too conservative for me since I am pretty moderate. I also think she is too religious to be a VP. Religion/politics shouldnt mix in this day and age IMO.
But I can see her bringing in a lot of the really conservative voters who actually care about things such as gay rights and abortion.
