That said, I really like her on 30 rock.
She has more experience than Obama and she is only running as VP.
Governors do more in one month than a senator does in a year. She probably has more executive experience than all the other candidates.
Not saying that Palin is not competent. But I fundamentally disagree with the argument that just because someone held x position for x amount of years makes them qualified for another position. No, they need to have the specific skills, judgment, and intelligence for that position.
One thing that is disturbing about this pick is that McCain only met with Palin once or twice before picking her as VP. He basically selected the backup leader of the free world based on at most, two meetings. I wouldn't even date a woman exclusively after meeting them only twice. That just doesn't seem like a sound decision on his part.
In the next couple of weeks we'll get to see more of what Palin's about and she can either prove that she truly is the right person for the job or not.
