its about a 3 hour trip (1hr to cville, 2 from cville to danville). i'm sure people will be makin a stop at my place on the way back for any bathroom or relaxin or whatever breaks they might need. as for showing support at VIR, we really need people to show that MM is committed to working with NASA at these events. it sucks that we've gotten the shaft in the past, but if you think about it, this is really a sweet deal we've got goin with them. when i ran out of worker credits to use, that weekend fee, although its relatively cheap compared to other orgs, is still a shot to my visa. i plan on working lots of events this year to recoop some of my losses. regardless, we've gotta show that MM can handle all around duties of workin a track event, which can only bolster our relationship with nasa and help hook us up in the future.
sorry for a non-worker interjecting in a worker thread... this will apply to me probably at more than a few weekends this year tho...
