Hes right, if the rears are hooked though an amp (factory or otherwise) and you don't have blue/white from the player hooked to the cars amp turn on wire it will cut out. You probably have blue hooked to blue...this is is not right, the radio's blue/white needs to be hooked to blue on the harness going into the car.
Blue = power antenna (off when not in radio mode)
Blue/White = amp turn out (12v when player is on in any mode)
