I would not venture to a neighbor's property in this situation unless I though they were home. If they were home and such a thing were going down I would kill the intruders. I would give them zero opportunity to show me a weapon. I would surely think "bang, you're dead" but I hardly think I would proclaim it aloud. It has been said already in this thread that if you are going to introduce a firearm into a situation such as this the intent needs to be to kill. A gun should never be pointed at anyone or used for intimidation. It is a tool of protection, not something to be taken lightly. Fuck people who break into a persons home and rob them. That sort of shit can ruin people for life...make them never feel safe again. Heaven help someone who breaks into this house.
