....Its just too bad that the fact that he takes really good care of his car (which means its obviously important to him (but not as much as me... )) means people have to mess with the hard work. You are nice enough to have a party with free beer, as JMU does, and people don't respect your apt, steal your things, break things, etc. Most people don't respect what they are given, like doing bad in college for example (which I'm sure the person who took his morror is) when your parents spend so much money on it. Jack appreciates his car, and people cant effing respect that. So what if its 'riced' a bit. It's his passion, his one thing. Riding is mine. If someone went into my horse's field and did something to her, I would be furious, no matter how much I 'riced' her, because it means i take care of her because i LOVE her. I put so much money into her because she is my passion. The only reason my horse doesn't get messed with is because I can keep her 15 miles away from drunk idiots. Thank goodness. Unfortunately, Jack doesn't have a garage, and what can you do about idiots besides try to find them and beat the s**T out of them.

Just to put my two cents in, I don't think it is riced. I think it is loved. It is appreciated, as it should be. People like me who are not so involved in the car thing dont notice that is lowered and has stickers, because it is not so in your face, it is subtle. The only reason his car is noticed is because it looks good from years of good care. I put a little hoof polish on my horse and she is riced? no. It means I go the extra length to take good care of her.

They better hope I don't find them. Enough said..

I understand your point, but stickers and such do draw attention. FWIW I didn't care if there was spaces available right near the apartment entrance. I parked as far as I could from those entrances, especially on the weekend, so it wasn't the first thing that a drunk person would see when they stumble their way towards the bus stop. This was with a 89 Buick no less.
