yeah man I'm thinkin my luck has gone out the window... thanks for the offer. Luckily insurance is going to cover it ($50 deductible) with no effect to rates so i'm getting it fixed tomorrow since technically i can't legally drive the car without the mirror.

But at this pace my car alone is gonna get the stratus on that top cars to be stolen/vandalized list. haha

You could always de-rice your car so the typical drunken student doesn't look at it and feel compelled to rock it one. I mean, this is twice in three months right? Can't imagine that's coincidental.

For instance, do you really need an Eibach sticker for each wheel? :-)

Totally agree... but i def wouldn't call my car rice material because its over $22,000, still sports a clear coat, still has stock body styling features, doesn't sound like a whoopie cushion, and isn't missing half of of a primed front aftermarket bumper Smile

My car WAS parked in the prime (walking-distance wise) spot right at the entrance of my apt building (which is something i never do on Friday or Saturday nights) on a freakin' SUNDAY night.

My car gets picked on because its CLEAN. I think if i just throw dirt on it it would be just as effective as a top of the line camera-flamethrower-proximity security system.

And maybe I like Eibach Smile

1) I have no idea what R/T you are looking at... guessing its the Neon because the Stratus R/T runs from $20-$25K. And that was in 2003. (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/DodgeStratusRT">http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/DodgeStratusRT</a><!-- m -->) I know the sedans R/T can be priced around the $16K range. But I have the coupe.

2) Obviously my def of ricer was defined in my later post. Please refer to some of the characteristics of ricer car that follows the truncated quote you mentioned. It pertains to my car and not a generalized view.

PLUS, this posted topic was not to argue about the worth of my car or the definition of "ricer" which varies from person to person, but was to get out the word for a vandalized car and to share the grief of a fellow MM member.

....Its just too bad that the fact that he takes really good care of his car (which means its obviously important to him (but not as much as me...Smile )) means people have to mess with the hard work. You are nice enough to have a party with free beer, as JMU does, and people don't respect your apt, steal your things, break things, etc.

Just to put my two cents in, I don't think it is riced. I think it is loved. It is appreciated, as it should be. People like me who are not so involved in the car thing dont notice that is lowered and has stickers, because it is not so in your face, it is subtle. The only reason his car is noticed is because it looks good from years of good care. I put a little hoof polish on my horse and she is riced? no. It means I go the extra length to take good care of her.

They better hope I don't find them. Enough said..

Jack appreciates his car, and people cant effing respect that. So what if its 'riced' a bit. It's his passion, his one thing. Riding is mine. I understand your point, but stickers and such do draw attention. FWIW I didn't care if there was spaces available right near the apartment entrance. I parked as far as I could from those entrances, especially on the weekend, so it wasn't the first thing that a drunk person would see when they stumble their way towards the bus stop. This was with a 89 Buick no less.

Yeah i feel like it would have been laying around if they had just hit it. It looks like it was just pulled off or something pretty cleanly too cause there's not other damage and the mirror is probably still in good shape. I looked into the dumpsters this morn cause a drunk would probably just try and discard it somewhere easy and quickly. But no luck at least where i looked. I'm about to go downstairs to ask some guys about the crowd at their place last night... brb Smile

welp, the dude claimed he didn't have people over early last night. Just walked by his apt on the way to mine and it seemed like a bunch of noise comin' from the other side of his door. Either he's telling the truth or he's the one that did it... lol

Last 03' R/T auto coupe we had was $17,500 and it set for a long time. Don't even remember what they let it go for. Had a decent silver one with a new jasper engine we wholesaled for $4,500.

I think its a clean and nice car, its a shame people insist on messing with other people's shit. My minivan is junky lookin, but I would still shoot someone in the face for vandalizing it. Its just disrespectful to the max.

As for stickers. As everyone can tell I don't have any problem with them....ON GLASS. I had stickers exactly like yours picked out for my Lebaron. Eibach and Yoko. But I decided, why make my car look goofy when they aren't giving me any money for it? Not saying yours is goofy, I just think they clutter up an otherwise extremely clean car. If it were mine I would shave everything except the R/T logo...even the side molding.

yeah i've thought about doing that with the side molding but that ugly strip has saved my door panel from numberous unsightly dings.

And i seem to be loosing this price thing... i don't like being wrong about my own car. So here.
