Are we talking about powershifting (not lifting off the gas during the shift) or about clutchless shifting (just as it sounds, slamming the car into gears without use of the clutch pedal)? Either is not going to be good for the car unless you have a clutchless tranmission or some kind of built in clutch activated rev limiter that allows you to shift without lifting.
One of those crazy Japanese inventions that as a byproduct requires a driver to do more than just hold the car straight while pressing down on the gas. Crazy!
