The thing with Moore is he is not quite intelligent enough (nor does he have the desire even if he was intelligent) to present and informed, fair, and reasonable discourse on the issues. He and many like him can only bash Bush and not really deal with anything in a pragmatic matter. The result is trite rhetoric.
Hopefully the commercial success of his movies will spur intellectually honest and unbiased (or at least less biased) people to make political movies of substance.
