even if i run the DVCs in parallel? if i bridge the amp and wire the dual voice coils in parallel it should be showing the amp 2 ohms since bridging the amp essencially shows the half the impedence from the coils. if i misunderstood something please explain- i'm just looking for a good setup as well.

I didn't read enough to see DVC. The only problem you may have is most CompVR subs are dual 2ohm coils, so your choices are 4 or 1. I'm not sure they even make a dual 4ohm CVR.
