Continuing my rant (I have nothing better to do). You know what I think is dumb? In a world with finite resources and pollution problems, we have an apparent majority of US consumers who's ideal vehicle would be an Abrams Tank with 10,000 HP, Barcaloungers for seats, an internet connection and flat screen TV. It would be really cheap and sold at Walmart dealerships, reliability would be horrible, but you just throw it away when the warranty period is up and get another one.

So automakers stick with the "more is better" mantra and continue adding more weight and HP with every iteration, slowly working to build the ultimate US consumer's dream car! Hooray for suckin gas and haulin ass!
