Not sure. They are Altec Lansing from a dell I bought in 2000.

I have bose Triport headphones at work I will try it with those.

You'll notice that none of the subs listed there can even get down to 20. Let alone 15. Here's what the Mythbusters were using to test sub 20hz frequencies, trying to find the "brown note"

You might be right, but I looked on the Bose site for the specs on my headphones but did not find them listed. I also looked at Sony and found their over the ear HPs have "Frequency Response: 8-80,000Hz." Their earbud HPs have "Frequency Response: 5Hz - 25,000Hz"

So the sony headphones should be able to play all the sounds on that site right?

I will be the first to admit I know little about sound and less about sound producing devices.
